How We Created Emotional 3D Assets That Helped SCX Replace Costly Live-Action

The Challenge
SCX needed to launch the SCX Advance—a feature-heavy slot-racing system with complex digital elements & features (pit lanes, overtaking, and app integration).
Previous live-action ads felt limited and carried heavy recurring costs for actors, studios, and regional usage fees, making global scaling expensive and legally complex.
The Solution
ToyMotions built a “Cinematic Inner World” that brought the player’s imagination to life. We transformed complex CAD data into photorealistic Digital Twins of the Formula and GT car lines, and race track.
By putting the “Dad and Son” directly into the cockpit via 3D animation, we visualized the thrill of the race while seamlessly demonstrating every technical feature of the Advance system.

By moving the ‘Imagination’ into 3D, we didn’t just save on production costs—we removed the physical limits of the camera.
We allowed the audience to see the race from the driver’s seat, something a live-action lens simply cannot do.
